A uniform is worn five days a week, washed constantly, outgrown every year and judged by every parent at the school gate. In the UAE it also has to stay comfortable through hot playground breaks and long air-conditioned lessons. Milano Group has manufactured uniforms in Dubai and across the UAE for over 25 years, and we design every garment around all of it.

We work directly with schools to design the uniform, then manufacture every piece in our own facility — shirts, blazers, skirts, trousers, PE kits and accessories — with your crest embroidered in-house. With a minimum of 10 pieces per design, we suit large schools and small nurseries alike, including new schools preparing for their first intake.

Common Questions from Schools

Poly-cotton blends are the usual choice for shirts and trousers: breathable, easy to iron and good at holding colour through constant washing. Polo shirts are cooler than collared shirts for younger children. For PE, moisture-wicking fabrics like Cooltex keep students far more comfortable.

It varies by school, but usually a shirt or polo, trousers, skirt or pinafore, and a PE kit. Many schools add a blazer, tie and jumper for older students, plus house t-shirts and leavers’ wear.

Start from your school colours, then think practically: darker trousers and skirts hide wear, lighter shirts stay cooler in heat, and strong accent colours work well on ties, trims and PE kits. We produce mockups so you can compare options before deciding.

Yes. We make long-sleeve shirts and blouses, longer skirts and pinafores, full-length trousers for girls and matching headscarves, all in the same colours and fabric as the rest of the uniform.

Ten pieces per design. That makes us a good fit for nurseries, small schools and new schools as well as large school groups.
